Ok, but there is also a reason why one can read on

"Support for rudimentary session management"

There seems to be apps which do not come back. IIRC, xjed never comes
back after a "Save session".

I hope someone can get motivated enough to remove the "rudimentary"
word above :-)

There was some commented out code trying to improve that. See
commit 024e2f5299e4.
