When you say worked I assume you mean that you tried it with the same
applications in both environments?
In any case, I'm sorry to say that I've run out of time to track this
down for now. I may be able to put some time into it much later this
week, but if you'd like a resolution sooner than that I suggest that you
take a look at the diff between 92 and 95 and see if you can figure out
where it went off the rails.
One last question for those for whom it's working ... how are you
starting windowmaker? Do you have a login manager? If so, which one?
What command line are you using to start windowmaker itself?
