Hi,

if you argue like that then there should be a PKGBUILD for Arch Linux
also. But I disagree on that. What a distro does with the source code
and what it needs to build a package isn't needed at the source code
from that project. It's the business of the distro to keep the files in
their repository and manage it there. 

Otherwise every single open source project would have lots of
directories for every distro which includes the project and that makes
no sense to me.

That's my opinion.
