Hi, Suggestions are always appreciated, even when there is no apparent feedback... (although if it longs to come, it may be worth raising again the point). > 1) Wording in the second tab: "When dragging a > maximized window..." might look more neat as: > "Dragging a maximized window...", together with > corresponding changes in the combo list strings: > "...change*s* ...", "...restore*s* ...", > "...makes the window unmaximized", "...does not > move the window". I am proposing the following patch. I put your name on the commit because I think it is worth keeping the name of the person who made the effort to participate. WPrefs.app/WindowHandling.c | 10 +++++----- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 5 deletions(-) > 2) The new default application icon is not very > visible on any kind of darker background, > alt-tab panel included. Might use some light > aureole or something. Not that I'm gonna do anything about it soon, but a small snapshot would be welcome (I'm being a bit lazy here...). > 4) What does "Enable window snapping" do (last > tab)? I have the same problem, this speaks only to people who are already used to it. I will propose a patch to add a balloon help which describe what it is all about. > 5) Personally, I am always forgetting what > "apercu" means after like 5 minutes of finding > it and perusing it in the list archives. The privilege of being french ;-) I have a pending patch that changes some stuff around Aperçus in WPrefs, I do not plan today to change the name (but if there's more feedback in that direction...), but I do plan to add a balloon help to explain what it is. > For the Wmaker dialogs in general: > > 7.1) Icon setting dialog has immutable paths > list. Could we have + and - buttons there, > adding (or opening add dialog) and removing > paths from this list, like GTK dialogs do? The paths are supposed to be edited from WPrefs. To avoid duplicating code, I had an idea to implement something that could help do something about it, so if you're a little bit patient... Nothing to say on other points for now, but that does not mean I do not have ideas about them, but most of them are too long term to let false hope settle... -- To unsubscribe, send mail to wmaker-dev-unsubscr...@lists.windowmaker.org.
