Qt5 properly introduced the QAudioInput and QAudioOutput classes that we now use for WSJT-X audio, they were partly available in Qt4 but I'm not sure if they were compatible with what we use now. Does Raspberry Pi have enough CPU cycles and graphics speed to run the full WSJT-X GUI and decode in reasonable time?
Is there a time scale for availability of Qt5 on the Pi, is Qt5 available/buildable on Linux ARM in general. This: http://qt-project.org/wiki/RaspberryPi and this: http://qt-project.org/wiki/RaspberryPi_Beginners_guide seem to imply that Qt5 on the Pi is mostly available and includes the QtMultimedia module that WSJT-X relies on. > > > I'll get the full "dev" kits on my Fedora 21 ARM box, ASAP. There is an outstanding issue with KVASD on Linux ARM, we still don't have a build of the latest v1.12 for that platform. Do you have a machine with SSH access with either a cross tool chain or directly that Joe K1JT can use to do that build? > > 80 > > Alan VK2ZIW 73 Bill G4WJS. > > On Sat, 29 Nov 2014 00:37:47 +0000, Bill Somerville wrote >> Hi All, >> >> This is largely complete for WSJT-X.
