Hello Bill. I have WSJTX CAT configured for the Yaesu FT-2000 now and with 
split operation set to Rig, It is functioning correctly. So it must be an 
issue with DXlabs Commander.

Did Commander and your rig go into split mode?

As a sanity check can you try the same test with Commander not running
and WSJT-X configured to talk directly to your rig please?
