The "ugly green spot" means your rig is connected and gets an "S" in it when
you're in split mode.Nothing to do with level controls.

- good idea - looks good.
Just wonder, why we have this (? ugly ?) green spot on top/right, but
that's a matter of taste ;-) The thermometer bar has his color,
so what is the spot good for ? Color changing 'thermometer bars' can be
found in many audio applications, just as this one. You follow the trend ;-)
- Think we should have a better explanation what the remaining slider is
doing if I move it up/down ?
