I suspect Debian stores the cached WWWOFFLE files (logically) in
/var/cache/ subdirectories. RedHat puts them into /var/spool/.

However, the suggestion stands. The layout of the browser bookmark
files may vary from user to user; but all WWWOFFLE users will have the
same structure for their cached ../wwwoffle/http directory. Hence the
script could be used without further tweaks (other than the path to the
directory).

Some users keep most of their downloaded URLs in the WWWOFFLE cache (and
use one of the search engines suggested in the WWWOFFLE package when
they want to find entries that relate to a specific topic). In their
case, the majority of the entries in ../wwwoffle/http/ would be kept and
only a small (and constantly-changing) number would get listed for
purging.

Other users keep only a few entries and routinely clean out most of the
cache with a "wwwoffle -purge" routine. For them it would be easier to
update the list of entries that should _not_ be purged.
