Having now successfully sorted out the wwwoffle cache and got WWWOFFLE
to work in Debian (woody), the above comment has become very relevant.

The supplied script to create the namazu database worked after
adjustments. Attempts to access the database via "namazu.cgi" were a
disaster. Not only are the suggested paths incorrect in the namazu
script, but the file invoked when attempting to load a namazu search
from a browser (/usr/share/wwwoffle/html/en/search/namazu/search.html ?)
does not appear to be able to find the namazu script.

I realise that WWWOFFLE-2.7a is ancient history, but I still regard it
as unfortunate that such a situation should find its way into Debian
_stable_.
