More specifically: I've used Windows since the early 90's - first because that's where I did my programming work (early GUI stuff and Word automation) and later because all translation tools (my current industry) run on Windows. So I've used Perl on Windows since before it was convenient - not that it's really 100% even now.
All the wxPerl work I've ever done has been on Windows. For my last machine, I installed Ubuntu as the primary OS and Windows in a VM with "seamless" integration - which really is pretty darn close to seamless. I do the specifically translation-and-editing work under Windows, and everything else under Ubuntu on the same machine, and it is fantastic. But the upshot is that I can develop and test under Linux and Windows at the same time without even getting up from my chair.
