I might as well plug my own app: http://pyrecade.sourceforge.net/ The page is a little outdated, and I've really been dragging my heals on making an actual release, but feel free to check out what's in CVS. I've implemented most of the features that I had intended to so if you have any requests or better yet patches feel free to pass them along. The only thing sitting on my plate is a text selection mode like the above interface uses. It isn't that hard for me to add I just need to restructure the theme file format a bit before hand.
