Nor am I, since gentoo doesn't really HAVE official maintainers for
packages.  I've just kind of become the de facto maintainer of the xmame
and xmess ebuilds because I started maintaining them when no one else
was (actually, there was no xmess ebuild at all).  If you truly feel
it's important, please put a bug up on bugs.gentoo.org and add me to the
CC list on it.  We can hash it out with the gentoo devs and get an
"official" call on it.  I'll go with whichever way the majority want it.
