In the world of EDI and we are talking
80,000 translators out there, There are only
a small number of installs that would include EDI/XML
My point is that most of the EDI systems in place and
the trading partners involved already have systems in place.
The EDI/XML is for the "new" trading partners. Now you need
to convince the "old" trading partners that this new technology is going to
be widely used. Our way of thinking is "it's not broken, why fix it"
I have been doing this 10+ years. I am not apposed to change.
Your Dot.coms are so new to this, becareful. They look to you for
guildness as you are a consultant. As far as being a "Major",
you will learn, When you start seeing thousands upon thousands
being deducted from the check.
