Standards and More Standards!

I've been quite impressed by what OAG and xCBL (CommerceOne) have done in the development of their XML standards. Both are trying to achieve an object-oriented approach with a messaging/broker architecture.   But does anyone have any constructive criticism on these standards? I've read and heard lots of great things but very little on what their limitations are.   Appreciate your feedback. -Emad
