Yes it would. Any indication would be better than no indication at all, which is the way it is at the moment. As it is, I find myself hitting control-w several times, then trying other keystrokes to try to find out what is happening, then playing with the menus to see if XXE is still responsive. Even a visual flash would be useful to show that XXE has understood the key-stroke but cannot respond. --Nat
