I musta missed summat. What is wrong with the existing system? "set the
itemDel" persists through the handler, whilst the above is what... a
one-off exception to the currently implemented itemDel? If so, then I would
prefer
put item 1 <del ":"> of the long time into n
so at least it remains optional.
