Liam, don't waste your time, learn to suss up the "agents provocateurs" and
ignore them.

As far as this thread stands, he just wanted to advertize a new distro,
that much is obvious.

Back in the past, when I was lookung around to get rid off Windows, I tried
several lunux distros... in those days, we'd buy them in cd and then dvd...

Spent quite a bit of money, tried many, including fedora, red hat and
suse... then teied ubuntu and it seemed it would do the trick for me, so
started investing my time in learning linux more seriously.

Eventually stumbled upon Xubuntu... and the rest, as the saying goes, is
history. Love it, runs in all the hardware I throw it into and any glitch
that occasionally happens, gets quickly sorted out by just chatting with
the community... someone always has a solution.

That's my personal experience, of course.

But bottom line is... xubuntu is a fabulous distro that does what it says
in the tin and I personally haven't come accross a laptop or pc or
raspberry or what-have-you, that won't take it and run it happily.

So... to the xubuntu folks that keep the distro so good... thank you for
your efforts, work and pacience and WELL DONE!

It is a fabulous distro.

Joao
