Sorry, I left Sun about one year ago, and I am no longer involved in ATI DRI project for Solaris. If anybody is interested in this project, he or she can take over it, just ingore me :)
Most likely, Solaris's DRM will be changed to accept GEM as Linux does now since the code comes from Intel and should have no license issue ( I am not sure about this. Forgive me if I am wrong ), AFAIK, some engineers from Intel & Sun are working on GEM & KMS (?) (certainly, Intel graphics only ) enabling, they already got a prototype and can work on some Intel graphics hardware with much better performance. Unless you don't follow GEM and develop another grahpics memory manager framework and enable ATI driver to work under this framework, probably, you also need to enable Intel driver to work under the same framework as well (from PSARC 's point of view :) ), you will have to wait for GEM integration before starting ATI driver developing (note that I mean developing instead of porting from Linux). -minskey Uros Nedic ??: > Ecellent!.
