I too am looking for advice around getting a Radeon 3870 to work. I started with 2008.11 and upgraded straight 106, I've just ran the update to 107.
Whenever I go into the Device Driver Utility the driver being used for the card is listed as "vgatext". I'm guessing this is wrong! So which package is the one to go for? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
