Interesting, so why then is it failing to detect that a radeon driver would be appropriate to my system. I tried editing the conf file and restarted X with Alt-Ctr-Backspace and all I got was an orange screen. Rebooting hangs at the scrolling bar thingy again. Is there anyway to make opensolaris boot like most linux distros with a nice load of text streaming by telling you where it's having a problem?
Could it not like my Xfire config (doesn't bother Suse,Sabayon,Ubuntu or Fedora) Is it possible the newest version has some bizarre dislike of my BIOS Settings like AHCI or something - booting does seem a little slow/tempermental even with vanilla 2008.11 -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
