You can try booting the BE with the 256.35 driver, let it hang or whatever state it gets in and then cold boot into the original b134 BE. Mount the BE with the 256.35 driver and send me /var/adm/messages and /var/log/Xorg.0.log from the 256.35 BE. Example: $ beadm list // This is just to get the name of the BE on which you // installed the 256.35 driver.
