Comrade, where is your evidence that public opinion has changed since July?
Do you think that a lot of media ballyhoo means that potential voters have automatically changed their minds? If you think so, then I must disagree. There is no evidence that it is the case. Past evidence is that the media is constantly against the ANC. In that respect nothing has changed. Schlemmer's evidence shows very firm support for the ANC, firmer than any other party. The campaign to support JZ for ANC President and against "two centres of power" was a mass popular campaign. It has not disappeared. All that has happened is that its opponents have declared something which is not even a party. It is a black DA "steering committee". Let's debate this. This is only the first of many "opinion polls". I agree with you to the extent that all such "opinion polls" must be treated with circumspection.
