Christianity:
When the Holy Roman Empire had too much problems with the early
Christians in one of its remote colonies, namely Judea; the HRE simply
legalised it; but under a structure of it's own and called it the
Roman Catholic Church.

Eversince, modernity cause the RCC to splinter into a myriad of
smaller.... good for nothings!

Particularly in the Third and Developing countries another kind of
Christianity came into being that is much more supportive of the poor
and downtrodden in societies/-y. That kind of Christianity is called
Liberation Theology.
