Cde Nndwamato,

The point I am registering has nothing to do with Cdes Blade and
Zwelinzima as individuals, but everything to do with the respect and
acknowledgement the office their occupy, in relation to the
responsibilities given by respecting Congresses of both structures. I
don't think it is required of comrades to be mordant when referring to
each other, and also in my view it is the responsibility of every
member, activist and leader within the broader MDM structures to protect
each other.

Qabane fact the Cde General" is a Provincial Secretary, means in
practice he articulates on the ANCYL positions within Gauteng and in my
view it can't be correct to address comrades the way he did
[irrespective if there are swearing @ the ANCYL or not] two wrongs can't
make a correct. I agree with the attitude of Cde Kupa that of defending
the President of the ANCYL, including every member in good standing.
Wena you're correct to articulate on your Branch position, for then I
choose to believe it was a resolve of your Branch Congress or a BGM
which realized a quorum. The last think cadre rest assured I am an
active member of the Congress Youth League, YCLSA & Party and not an on
line members as you refer. I prefer to be developed through engagements
and discussions [hence I subscribe to this forum] with other comrades,
and refuse to label any comrade irrespective ukuthi we are holding
opposing views about something.

GAUTENG PROVINCE ON THE VICIOUS ATTACK OF OUR PRESIDENT JULIUS MALEMA

Equally so, the Provincial secretary has a duty to defend the ANCYL and
the ANCby those from within who behave like chameleon. It cannot be
right for both the Party and COSATU to become a vanguard of insulting
everyone. Our has never been about individual and as such we seek not to
worship even Blade or Vavi. The moment we become silent of how for
example Blade responded to the January 8 Statement presented by
Preisdent Zuma on behalf of the NEC in his capacity as the General
Secretary and go on to worship Zuma and not the ANC was problematic and
you were fine with that. You see if we are to use the very same yard
stick to measure who is responsible to say what we will never win? We
kept quite because we understood the structures of the Party, we are
also fine with the Press Release of Secretary Kupa because we understand
the structures of the ANCYL. If you have an issue with our stance of
Mbalula becoming Secretary General of the ANC in 2012, come convince us
in the Provincial Conference of the ANCYL in May 2010. I can speak
without any contradictions that my branch Mahlambandlopfu (ANCYL) has
pronounce on this matter to guide both the Regional and Provincial
Conference and we are in agreement with the statement by cde Kupa. Hence
we are saying if you have an issue go to structure (especially as a
member in good standing) and hoping that is not about the fact that you
have a card and not participating, then you must revisit your
understanding of how good you are? is it online members who in branches
are not there. This pronouncement by Mahlambandlopfu was informed by
reality of the epoch we are heading towards in 2012 and felt that the
ANC belongs to all of us and no one will seat in the pseudo congress and
resolve around how the ANC should operate. Hence it is important to
revisit clause 6.4 of the SACP constitution.

It is sad story for leaders to remain very much bias these days to
protect their dark sides. In actual fact I am begging to see what Funky
saw when the issue of the Black Bag Money was pondering, it might be
true that the money was collected and people do not want to be honest.
By the way why do people or cdes behave as if they are less ANC or more
ANC than others. The fact that we choose to be members of the SACP does
not make us better ANC members than those who are just only ANC members.

This new vigour and energy, which COSATU and its drunk affiliates
(SADTU, NUMSA) got is just another way to protect their spoit broers.
When Blade all of sudden appointed Minister and there was change of life
style, buying a new brand car was an acceptable issue in the Party of
Kotane and under the disguise of Security concerns. Some of this
nonesense are just unjustifiable period.

By the way our ANC constitutions is very clear on who is our members. If
they COSATU feel that they cannot be associated with ANC, that has rich
people and business people then they must just go.

What a hypocrisy, for COSATU to have issues with business cdes and
itself its fully participating in the Investment business for whose
interests? I do not think is for workers. Hence we have been saying this
issue that in SA the RED Communist are very few most of them are Yellow
Communist who just love the ideals of Communism and living a different
live style.

Cdes, like we said there is no SACP and COSATU in ANC structures but ANC
cadres. If we are to follow the SACP Constitution 6.4, it states
"Members active in fraternal organisations or in any sector of the mass
movement have a duty to set an example of loyalty, hard work and zeal in
the performance of their duties and shall be bound by the discipline and
decisions of such organisations and movement. They shall not create or
participate in SACP caucuses within such organisations and movements
designed to influence
either elections or policies. The advocacy of SACP policy on any
question relating to the internal affairs of any such organisations or
movements shall be by open public statements or at joint meetings
between representatives of the SACP and such organisations or
movements".
If we are to use this as benchmark, it will then tell those noise
markers that it is only through the ANC, wherein they must raise an
issue and as ANC and not either be SACP or COSATU. Therefore, this call
by COSATU and its Affiliates is very shy of the reality. When for
example the State wanted money from Pension Fund to Bailout Companies to
Stop Job Bloodbath, COSATU did not agree and today they cry that there
had been a lot of job losses while they refuse to be part of the
solution. By the way the money was to be loaned by the State and members
were to get their money back. We should not be reduced to be ANC members
without brains, we have brains and can be thinking tanks better than
them. We are loyal ANC members, we do not loose at ANC/ANCYL and then
goes to SACP/YCL to locate ourselves and start to think that we are
equal partners.

Anyone with a view that suggest that we are Tsotsi's is tsotsi himself
or herself as Thiefs come in different forms. Cdes you silency on those
that name call us assume that you are in agreement with them, meaning
you are guilty of name calling too. Why when teh ANCYL do the same you
feel the heat.

By the way we have just emerge or are emerging from economic crisis,
which the Party has never presented to Society its stand and alternative
to resolve the challenges except noise making. When Capitalism was at
its weakest, you find those pseudo communist mum on the aggressive path
to push for a socialist path, it worrying and do not care who says
what. This party has gone somewhere and if you challenge we are
labelled. I am writing this as a victim of Party leadership for name
calling me a Bolsheviks for raising my views that are out of sink with
their own wish. the moment you refuse to be a reformist you are
labelled.

If you think you will attack the political leader of the ANCYL and we
will keep quite, you are wrong because our defence of Juju-babe is a
defence of the ANCYL.I always thought some Unionist have brains but to
start to spit their bile about Malema's money & become silent on their
members who terrorise our kids at school is worrying. If Malema has
business interests, what the fuss all about? We are determined, no one
will derail us on the 2012 Project. Why silence on Snr Party members who
use their Spouse and Wives to gain from tenders? Lets be genuine on this
fight. If its about name and shame, we can do more but the question is
at whose interest?

Lets talk.

Sandile I agree with you here, the Provincial Secretary of the ANCYL in
Gauteng is missing an opportunity to present supporting facts.

But equally what is unfortunate is this name calling thing on behalf of
the leadership and structures of the ANCYL Gauteng. To refer to the GS
of the Party as he did is totally out of order and very much
unfortunate. I am just commenting on my personal capacity as a member of
the ANCYL in Gauteng Province [who happens to be in good standing] that
I am convinced that structures of the ANCYL in the Province will not
agree with the insinuations made by its Secretary regarding Cdes Blade &
Zwelinzima. Lastly I hope Cde Kupa will be alive to fact that when he
releases an official statement it represents the ANCYL in Gauteng, which
therefore suggests that it can't be based on personal views and
emotions.

Of yellow communists and blue eyed boys.

I read this statement three times trying to understand what is its
message. There is absolutely nothing. It has not made anymore certain as
to the validity of the allegations levelled against Cde President. This
is the highest level of staunchism. Staunchists (fanatical supporters,
who cannot and are not interested in fact and reason) like Kupa are
feeding the frenzy by reducing to name calling and miss an opportunity
to present supporting facts. What does Mr. R500000 and yellow communist
mean? And so what if Cde President is from a poor family, does that give
him carte blanch to plunder as he pleases. This is really shallow.

PROVINCE ON THE VICIOUS ATTACK OF OUR PRESIDENT JULIUS MALEMA

STATEMENT OF ANCYL GAUTENG PROVINCE ON THE VICIOUS ATTACK OF OUR
PRESIDENT JULIUS MALEMA

21 February 2010

The Gauteng ANCYL wishes to express its outmost disgust on the recent
media reports that seek to portray President Julius Malema as a corrupt
individual as coined by yellow communist and embraced by white
capitalist controlled sensational media. We reject this assertion and
its association to our President, who by the way is not a public servant
or any thing of that sort.

We wish to state on record that President Malema is employed by the
African National Congress (ANC). When masses of our people called on him
to serve the state and its institutions; he requested the leadership
collective to allow him to finish his task as President of the ANCYL.
Unlike those who jumped into the bandwagon to serve that state
irrespective of task given by their respective organizations. We are
fully aware that they did so to build friendship with the media and
imperialist to attack the moral standing of our President. We thought
this tendency of using state apparatus and media to attack fellow
comrades was defeated in Polokwane, little did we know that it continues
raising its ugly head post Polokwane.

We wish to take this opportunity to remind South Africans at large that
President Malema is a political activist who is a child of working-class
and poor family. His work for the poor is well known to everyone;
therefore any attempt by forces that connives with capital to discredit
him has never and will not succeed.

We are very clear as Gauteng ANCYL that we currently in the congress
mood, hence many comrades are attempting to deflect our attention from
both policy (Nationalization) and leadership articulation and preference
debate throughout our structures in the province and national. With
regard to nationalization, the debate is on how it should happen not
whether it will happen. We are taking this policy debate to our
structures and eventually the ANC NGC later this year. Structures of the
ANCYL in Gauteng and we believe the rest of the country are singing
Fikile Mbalula for ANC Secretary General in 2012. This call is not made
by President Malema, rather all structures of the organization. Those
who wish to silence and deter us from mobilization young people who have
already swelled the ranks of the ANC and postured in favour of
generational mix leadership debate should not attempt to defocus us from
this important task of the organization.

Those deployed in government and not delivering the mandate of the ANC
should not equally seek to use the state machinery to persecute one of
our own (President Malema). Through our President we will continue
challenging those who are inefficient, lazy and corrupt. Our campaign
to fix the rotten Public Enterprise, Mining Departments and the over
dominance of minorities in the economic cluster of the cabinet are
issues we will continue raising sharply.

We support the lifestyle audit of those in government, trade unions in
particular Zwelinzima Vavi and Mr. R500, 000 plastic bag. We call upon
independent auditors to check transactions and accumulation during the
same period.

President Malema like any other human being know people and for the
record he does not dish out tenders as alleged by yellow communist and
the white capitalist media. Any attempt to associate a success of a
black child to corruption is malicious and unwarranted. We refuse to
accept all nonsensical weekend publications and we will work tirelessly
to inform our structure soon on the overall plot and battles ahead.

Forward to 2012
