QTParted does the job, but its hardly user friendly compared to many tools - e.g the Mandriva one. If YIS can include something better than QTParted, then go for it I say :) But for simplicity, QTParted already exists and works - albeit a little complex for new users. > 2) Should we support the installer being loaded in modes 800*600 or > 1024*768 or any one? If its easy to do, then yes :) More user friendly if there is a choice of install resolutions. I would also like to see language choices here. > 3) Do we need to add support for /usr, /var , /tmp etc., separate > partitions support or stay as how we do now? Minimum choice would be /, normal choice would be /, home and swap. Depending on the complexity of setting this up, it may be useful to have an advanced setup, which offers more choices, e.g var, usr etc. I personally usually go with /, home and swap. Look forward to seeing the next release of YIS - its a neat tool :) Mark _______________________________________________ yoper-dev mailing list [email protected] https://morpheus.pingos.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/yoper-dev
