I wouldn't go for LVM only, as too many users keep a dual-boot or triple boot system. We have to respect that imho. I don't know if LVM is easy to include as an extra option in YIS, but you will have to decide if this is possible and useful. If it is way too much work and might break the whole thing, then skip it.
