I don't think you understood what I said: The Senders are sending regular .xls and .xlsx files - everyone on PCs all over the world are receiving the files a-ok.
The PROBLEM is in our new MacBooks - we're the only ones who can't receive through Mail or Entourage - and get the Winmail.dat files instead. If we use Safari and enter our gmail, hotmail or yahoomail application that way instead of POPing the mail into Entourage we can see the Excel files clear as day... We can even download them from the internet that way onto the MacBooks through Safari... Problem is when Mail and Entourage POP bring the mails down. So it's NOT that Outlook is sending these Winmail.dat files (no-one else gets them) it's that Mail and Entourage somehow can't download the files properly!
