Do this experiment:

You¹re already using Gmail based on what I¹ve read earlier. Set up a
couple of test accounts with other free E-mail service providers such as
Hotmail and maybe even Mobile Me (you can get a 60-day free trial).

Have one of your senders send the same message and attachment to all your
test services and see if you receive the attachments correctly in any of
them. If you receive from some but not others then the problem is with the
E-mail service provider you¹re using.

If you receive none of the attachments correctly then the problem may be
with the server on your sender¹s side. Ask one of your senders to send
using one or more of the different E-mail service providers and see what
you receive.

This should help you localize the problem.

Hope this helps!
