When I got to play with Outlook on a friend's MBP, the thing that really bugged me was the inability to save a message to the Desktop. The Save As was dimmed out and I could not figure out how to save a message to the Mac OS X file system. I tried dragging a message to the desktop but the format could only be opened by a mail program.
In Entourage we can use the Save As and the saved file opens with TextEdit or any app that can read text files.
