Ordinary mind easily mistakes correlation for causation. Buddha mind,
has no corollary.

But I'd say you're right that there also are cooperating-causes and
-conditions in our lives, and it is *these* which break the samadhi,
whether we are still seated at the time or not.
Practice is a package-deal; we mustn't leave out an appreciation of
the panoply of methods transmitted by compassionate teachers from the
beginning, especially of Zazen.
The three pillars remain "Teaching; Practice; Awakening."
