The difference between meditation and Zen meditation?

You'd have to ask a teacher that.

But, just for conversation, here, let me ask you what you mean by the first 
thing you mention: meditation.  What do you mean by it?

I have to know that before we compare it to anything.

You know, there are many traditions in which meditation is taught and 
practiced.  There is no such thing as just "meditation", I think.
