The Admin guide is the next level up which is online, then the
developers guide which is also online. Then you get into the wiki and
forums. So you're in the right place.
When you entered your username, did you use NT4 style naming?
That is
DOMAIN\user
or
.\user
What error are you getting now (same)?

I think errors on virtual appliances is due to less memory only, I’ll try to upgrade my RAM and check it later, also i had gone through the Zenoss book (Zenoss Core Network and System Monitoring – by Michael Badger) but finding it very basic and seems not covering all the topics in depth, If you know about any other books for Zenoss (basically covering configuration & Troubleshooting in details) please share with us
