took me a while to figure that one myself few weeks ago. the problem is coming
from the results. you have RTA = XX and zenoss consider the result as being the
empty spae after the =
To solve this I modifed the command line as follow:
/usr/local/zenoss/libexec/check_ping -H ${dev/manageIp} -w 500,30% -c 700,40% |
sed 's/ loss = / |loss=/;s/, RTA = / RTA=/'
