If it weren't a closed 7000-series appliance, I'd suggest running the "zilstat" script. It should make it clear whether (and by how much) you would benefit from the Logzilla addition in your current raidz configuration. Maybe there's some equivalent in the builtin FishWorks analytics which can give you the same information.
