This is the purpose of an Amber Road dual-head cluster (7310C, 7410C, etc.) -- not only the storage pool fails over, but also the server IP address fails over, so that NFS, etc. shares remain active, when one storage head goes down. Amber Road uses ZFS, but the clustering and failover are not related to the filesystem type.
