Maybe it would clarify things if you define beforehand what you mean
by independent religion. To be honest I don't know for sure what
that means.

Ok, so being independent from Islam in this context. means Bahais
are not Muslims. That should be easy enough to prove. If a Muslim
disagrees with that claim then pretty clearly they are arguing under a
different definition.

Sure that's a good example. It works in other directions as well.
Muslims tend to have certain demographics, especially if you are
talking about Muslims living in Western countries. I've definitely had
conversations where people talk about Muslims but it would be more
