I want to change the order of the partitions on the USB key. In the Debian
Live system, there is only the /dev/sdb1 Debian Live partition, then free

On this note I believe there is a boot param hook= that is either
already in or coming in that might allow you to inject your setup but
for the vmware-server it would be easier to just chroot and build in
image.

producing a Debian Live CD and adding GNUmed in an XFCE environment has been
surprisingly easy.
