Aww, a whole 1/2 hour? :) When I go record shopping, I spend 4 or
5 or 6 hours listening to records - I love my music, and want to be
sure not to miss out on anything. I've listened to tracks more than
once many times, because so many times in the past i've missed
out on fantastic records due to perfunctory listens. It's up to the
store to provide more than one turntable, that's just ridiculous.

Some of the best records don't reveal themselves on the first listen -
for me (although I'm a bit weird like that), the Isolee 'Rest' album
sounded bad on the first 3 listens, ok on the next 8 or 10 listens,
and now I absolutely love it. Does anyone else ever get this?

Deepness needs waiting.

That is annoying, I'll admit. Some records I just flick through, when
it's fairly obvious what sort of style they are.
