If you really like to know more about UR, drop me a line.
It is also our roles, among others, to give true information, to get things straight. To educate the mass media, people, so feel free to do it. If you cannot buy Dan Sicko's book via internet, you can order it at W. Schmitt, an english bookshop located at rue de Rivoli-Paris. And definitively forget "Global Tekno" wrote by Jean-Yves Leloup, too much non sense, lies, you will be on the wrong way, still. Despite the fact that this guy had the chance to meet UR, he got nothing, ...Big shame...No respect... It would be very interesting to have the name of the magazine, for a right to reply.

Hi everyone, this is my first message to the 313 mailing list. Afriend of mine sended me an e-mail with the following observations:

Underground Resistance, qui symbolise l'autre versant de la techno de Detroit Sous le nom d'Underground Resistance, Jeff Mills et Mad Mike créaient des titres de dance hardcore très radicaux, ce que personne ne faisait Et ce type de techno simple et répétitive a eu beaucoup de retentissement en Europe, a été copiée voire plagiée sous des tas de formes de type harcore ou trance, d'une qualité bien inférieure

If i translate in English: Underground resistance are the other side of Detroit techno. Under U.R., Jeff Mills and Mad Mike created radicals hardcore dance titles that nobody had done. This simple and repetitive type of techno had a big impact in Europe. This style have been copyed under a lot of hardcore or trance forms, with a lot less quality.

Anyone have an opinion on this? I don't know much of Detroit music history, and even less knowledge of UR in Europe.
