Hard house used to be kind of underground house meets
techno meets progressive and yes very dark. For an
example of what Hard House used to be, check Flying
Rhino records and artists like Venom and Bus.

However, hard house has recently become a word used
for what was previously known as NuNRG 'cept it's
slightly more commercial (Nukleuz Records). This is
one of the reasons why I stopped playing goa and hard
house. I was only really looking for detroit anyway,
but I want to try everything at least once:)
