Actually whether Sims is good or bad wasn't the point I was making, more so the fact that he is one of techno's most hyped new names. I saw Umek the other week and was pleasantly surprised - he created a range of moods, though I didn't feel he was technically outstanding. Then the other night I saw Fumiya Tanaka from Japan and liked his subtle build and sublimal mixing, though his three hour set didn't hold my attention. I guess nothing can live up to Stacey Pullen a few weeks back.
