Heres my $0.02.
  If you read the link to the various reactions you will see that Kevin
Saunderson makes a very legitimate point: No promoters.  I have always been
weary of having a DJ/producer book the event and was hoping that Carol would
do the right thing and bring in people who are qualified to put this
together.  I can think of at least a half dozen people who have worked their
brains out in Detroit over the last 10 years who have every right to be on
the panel.  Having an all musician panel could be more about personal tastes
of the artists than the event as a whole.  I guess we will have to see the
lineup and whether or not Carol will give the panel the freedom it needs to
save some face this year.
