I have to correct something that was mentioned here real fast :) Legend has it that Flex got his production start by sitting in and contributing keyboard on Pierre's Fantasy Girl project http://www.discogs.com/release/132582 in the late 80's. Within a year of that The Wild Pitch sound was alive and kicking, Clashbackk dropped circa 96'. The Wild Pitch sound was brought to a broader audience by labels such as Strictly Rhythm around the time Clashbackk was started, but unfortuntely the sound was dying off when projects such as Rise From Your Grave hit. Kind of singled the beginning of the end :( We used to go crazy to Wild Pitch records in the late 80's/early 90's, that sound has always been one of my favorites, I'd love to see a resergence in it.
