How do they know he doesn't own any of the music at home - which would make the 
mp3 copies legal?  It seems to me you can't just look at his computer, right?

well of course. just to make it clear i spend all my spare money on 
vinyl and don't have p2p on my computer.

i can't help but think tho that the approach they're taking is a little ott
