That's a fair argument but you can see why some labels would do it, what I can't figure out is why you are grinding the axe so hard? I mean, you berated someone over sending them one copy?


If other consumers think that's ok, fair enough. But I happen to like going to my local shop and them recommending what's good, and trusting their judgement, and being able to have a flippin chat with them! I think it more or less applies to small online retailers as well.

I think you have to accept that the "old days" are nearly gone and clinging onto the past isn't going to work, it's tough out there for labels and artists, for many - breaking even would be nice.
