so, basically that doesn't sound too hot.
it's weird, you'd think all business matters aside that maybe having a mayor like that may be good for youth culture etc, but its seems even that
isn't the case (to an outsider looking in who knows nada).


maybe they should elect a non-threatening white mayor and give the rich white people tax breaks to move into the city to legitimize it in the eyes
of white america? or maybe not.

Well the city of detroit did give the rich white biz's owners a very large and hefty tax break to move there companies down to the city. The down side to this is that with such tax breaks add no tax revenue to pay for thing that need to get payed for like school, fire services, police services, road work, etc. The corruption is so thick in Detroit that the money the city does have gets spent in way's that do not help out the common folk. Like the mayor need to spend millions on cars and protection, or does he? ;) In my time in detroit I found the biggest problem Detroit has is apathy. Not much will change if the apathy stays so thick..
