Worse actually - as US gear faces an import tariff on
entry to the EU market so a higher price is justified.
Between EU countries this now doesn't occur, by law.
So banging on 40% 'cos a record crosses the English
Channel (or La Manche if you prefer) is a scam.

This is why we drool over the prices on, say,
Submerge, but rarely purchase because after paying the
p&p, if and when HM customs trousers his wedge,
surprise surprise, they end up costing about the same
as they do in the (usually chain) stores :-(

You may scoff, and I well understand the politics,
artisic integrity and 'nice small' vs 'nasty big'
issues, but this does have some bearing on the
'Jaguar' scandal. If UR could press or license over
here - their excellent material would come in about
50% less expensive. Special music deserves, nay
demands, to be heard....Oops getting onto thin ice
here methinks...

If folks is daft enough to fall for it....
They may also do it 'cos they think the cutting and
manufacturing process is better quality and worth the
extra....

Proper 30 from last year was well wicked guy..

Well hurrah for that...

London is also now starting to look up again following
the great crash of '97 - '98. 'Bout time too ;-)
