Anyone heard Ladytron's album? That's not original but sounds like some long
lost 80s record - with very 2000s irony. It's off the hook. Makes you
reminisce about the days of Human League and Ultravox and (gulp) A Flock Of
Seagulls.
Yes - great stuff indeed and achieved with the perfect tongue-in-cheek
panache. Along the same lines (not quite as strictly styled and aimed in
the same direction) is Barcelona's Zero-One-Infinity, although I'd say the
latter merely has the feel of that retro effect while Ladytron is the
essence of it. Lots of 2000s irony, though.
