And 64 Studio takes care about the kernel problems, but not every distro takes care about this, we don't know if the kernel developers will take care for realtime preemption. You do not need this only for music. If you will control a robot you might do most of it independently by pic micro controllers, but it would be fine to have a computer that is able to manage the data he gets from the pics in realtime too. I don't understand why realtime is fine for a while and than not. Why are there realtime kernels that are broken, it's okay because of the development, but they shouldn't be in repositories for users.
