Everything I know about linux, or about the GNU audio apps, I have learned because I looked for the answers myself. No one told me what to do, and every time I asked a question I could not find in other places, I got an answer - eventually.

I know the feeling of excitement, but you can not blame people that do not get paid, and certainly not by you to find the information for you. I do that, because I believe it is my contribution to the open source community, but there is only so many hours in a day to do my real job, then my second real job, and then my 3rd and voluntary job.

It hurts me to see people giving up without trying, or expecting people to come hold their hands.

I am using Linux EVERY DAY - FOR EVERYTHING.

Mail, internet, youtube, myspace, office apps, time management, photo editing, video editing, sound recording, professional mixing and mastering, watching TV etc. etc. etc.

Please stop trying to shock us into buying a flight ticket to come and fix it for you. People tire of a continuous whining.

I have 3 instances of 64 Studio running on 3 very different pieces of hardware, and each is doing exactly what it is intended to do. My entertainment system is running MythBuntu. All of these systems run multimedia applications every day.

Cheers,
Quentin
